On this job the customer wanted to keep their stone fireplace and hearth but wanted to change from a open fire to a Charnwood C5 Woodburner. We install a 316 stainless steel flexflue down the chimney with insulation. We also rendered the inside as the original brickwork was not in a nice cosmetic state.

On this job the customer wanted an old open fireplace to be made into a through fireplace to connect lounge and kitchen with heat from a Double Sided Woodburner. We constructed and reinforced the walls to allow for the fire, then installed a new hearth with rendered sides. A 316 stainless steel flexflue with insulation was put in place down the chimney. We also plastered the chimney breasts on both sides ready for them to paint.
